Anything Speacial?

Hello all! I just got my very first egg today from my chickens!

It made me all happy

Anyway, is there anything special things I need to give/do for them now that they are starting to lay? If it helps at all (I don't see how it would but) there are 5 Americanas and 11 RIRs.

If you don't have them on Layer feed....you need to start the transition ASAP to help them with their eggs

Well I have them on just normal Starter or something like that. And I just boaught a whole trashcan full of it to plus my half filled one to -.-
But I guess I can try to switch them over

If she is laying you need to switch her over....sorry dear....I always start mine on it around the "normal" time that my breed should start laying...in order to help build up their calcium and egg producing abilities
