Anything to help chick with curled toes?

Hatched this morning, and I've been hopinh to see some improvement... but the poor thing keeps having to practically walk on the opposite side of her foot. She's still flopping around the incubator getting dry. What's this bandaid trick I read about? Or any other methods to hopefully fix it?

I take a piece of cigarette pack,& set the chick foot on in. Tape the foot flat with medical tape. Then trim the edges so it looks like a duck foot. The splint will fall off in a few days. You may need to reapply.Best of luck!
