I have a few threads that I no longer participate in, mostly breed threads. Obviously they still show up on my 'show your posts' link when there is a new post on the thread. Is there anyway to remove threads from 'my posts' so they don't show when I look for 'my posts'? I miss new posts to threads that I'm active in because some of the ones I'm not active in are still quite popular.

Yeah, I think Desert Rooster is right. I suppose you could get a PPM and delete every one of your posts from the threads you don't like, though. Tiring, but it might be worth it.

Do you subscribe to the posts that you do want to still participate in? That might be an easier way for you to keep track. You'll get an email when someone responds to a thread you are subscribed to. Then you can click on the link and go read the new posts. If you decide you are done with that thread you just unsubscribe and no longer get the email notifications.

And sorry if you knew all of that already!

I know what you're actually talking about and no, as far as I know, there is no way to do it at this time. I do know that the question has been raised several times and that Nifty is thinking on it.

What is being discussed here is the "Show Your Posts" link at the bottom left of the Index and Recent Posts page. If you post even ONCE in a thread, that thread is permanantly "attached" to your personal list of posts. Even if you no longer post in that thread, every time someone else does it will go to the top in "Show Your Posts".

That would actually be an abuse of the PPM privileges.

Ah, I had no idea. Forget that I said anything, then.

LOL I just keep my post as my posts. That would be a little abusive... Although when I first joined BYC and only had 100 or so posts, there was a thread that I'm not too proud of...
