Apartment Quail!

I build my own PVC cages and I do button quail I have 1 coturnix male that I let roam as the houses dog quail lol recently hatched him a mate that hopefully will be female otherwise it's gonna get sold but I have 5 buttons ATM and the coturnix and baby coturnix and a baby button I'm letting the mom raise for a mate for the last male so 6 buttons 2 coturnix in a apartment, why do u ask ?

I'd like to add I originally wanted 1 maybe 2 😂 well funny semi long story
 
I don't, but I have a few friends who keep button quail in their apartments! I have been offered some of the extra quail babies but I am not prepared to take on the responsibility for keeping such small birds safe from predators, so I am sticking to just chickens for now. They are so cute though, it is very tempting!

That’s the appeal of them though. They’re hamster sized therefore you can find space for them indoors. I would feel mean leaving them outside anyway considering the sortof climate they’re from. I don’t even like the idea of chickens getting cold out in cooler climates considering their natural habitat.

Keep a pair In Ur room so at night when u go to bed the male will do his it's bed time growl and you can have jungle noise to sleep too lol
