Hi! I’m Kristen. 👋

I’ve owned chickens before but I feel like I’m doing it for the first time again. 😬

I currently have nine chicks that were born four days ago. It’s the most I’ve owned and I tried to get more but missed the cutoff to order(which was probably good). 😅 I have two Mottled Cochin bantams, two Steele Egger bantams, three Silkies, an Easter Egger and a Brahma.


My husband and I have three kids and just relocated this summer.

I’m looking forward to being a part of the forums and learning so much from all of you!
 
Wow, you covered your bases there for variety! I ordered some chicks from Meyer this year, too. I have 3 Steele Eggers from them, but the standard size (I would love the bantam version, though).

I would enjoy seeing pictures and following them as they grow up!

Hi! And welcome to BYC! I know what you mean, me and my family always raised chicks then took a 5 year break, and I got 4 for my birthday and felt like I never have done it before lol
