My ducklings were extremely vocal when I discovered internal pips at 12am this morning, staying vocal until about 6pm tonight. I’m approaching 24 hours of the discovery of the internal pippers with no external pip yet. I’m now talking to my first pipper- I get no response but she is moving (when candled) and clicking/pecking HARD. I’m worried about air supply- Should I Make a safety hole in the ones (4/10) approaching 24 hour internal pip or sit tight? I have 4/10 I discovered pipped at midnight last night, 2 more that I discovered this morning about 10am and 4 that need to internal pip and are still moving that I candled and checked about 6pm).

As I was writing this one of the eggs started externally pipping (I put a duck hatching/peeping video up on YouTube looping itself and within the time I did that and started writing this thread- one has begun the external pip process!)

Back to safety hole- any advice on if and when I should add a safety hole? Should I judge by movement and not voice? Thank you in advance for any responses!
