MARCH PHOTO CONTEST

This months contest is for the best picture of chickens eating! Take pictures of your chickens eating!

Hopefully we will get a lot of entries, so for this reason, NO CHATTING ON THE PHOTO POST, PLEASE. I'll make another thread where you can chat away about the CONTEST. Remember, be nice...it's hard getting the right picture and sometimes very time consuming. If you have a problem, PM me and we'll work through it.

CONTEST ENDS April 22th.

Poll Opens April 23th---Ending April 30th

How this contest works:
First, everyone will post their pictures. The contest ends April 30th. Then, we will make a separate thread, and post a poll. People can vote for one week and then, the poll will be closed. You can only vote once. The person with the most, votes (obviously) wins. If 0-10 people enter, there will be 1 prize, 11-20 1st and 2cd prize and if more than twenty people enter, there will be three prizes.

Rules:
No chatting in this thread please, we don't want to have to scroll through 100 pages of chat when we vote.
No editing your picture, once you post it.
Maximum picture number: 5.

I need to go get some pictures because I don't have any of our chickens eating really, but here's one of my baby chick, Ivory, soon after hatching on 1/29/10. She kicked a bunch of her food out of her dish and then fell asleep in it while eating.

And here's Ivory, my Splash Cochin/Buff Orpington chick (rooster)...He was outside in the garden, taking a dirt bath in the mulch and decided to try some of the baby fir trees we have growing.

In these pictures, I was hand feeding Ivory some cooked egg and he was going crazy over it!

He's so spoiled that yes, I do feed him with a spoon when I give him some cooked egg!
