We got very lucky!

They were saying 8-12+. Last night they took it down to an inch or less.

We've got about maybe 3 inches-ish on the ground now and it's still on and off snowing! All my girls piled out the door this morning took one look outside and piled right back in!

Central Maine here. Ya know I was REALLY hoping that is was just a big april fools joke from the weather-people...but I guess not. It's mother nature's joke to us.

"Did you like that warm 50 degree day yesterday? Weren't those little purple flowers just beautiful as they began to bloom? Oh and hearing the birds singing in the trees after all those cold monthes just divine? Well... HA HA; APRIL FOOLS! *SNOW*"

We have only lost power once so far.

And it's still coming down here...I guess mother nature decided to play an April Fool's joke on us.

The chickens aren't very pleased with it, though, after they spent all day yesterday in the sun scratching around the yard...and then they wake up to all this snow again???

Oh well, it'll probably melt fairly quickly sometime this week.
