Is an Aracaunas eggs bluer or brighter than an Ameracaunas?
Like the shades of olive eggers f1and f2 differences or none even the slightest difference? Pics please and I’m looking to buy an Aracauna pullet actually and any proven pullet egg colors I don’t have currently I’m willing to entertain🤣 any f4 olive eggers or yellow, plum eggers? Wintergreen?

True araucana, original colors, not one of the project colors, should lay true blue eggs... just like true ameraucana. I don't believe they're accepted 'range' of blue is any different between the two breeds.

Both breeds accept a wide range of blues to green. If you want blue eggs find a breeder who also works on egg colour.

One key reason the Ameraucaunas were developed as a breed is bc the Aracauna have genetic limitations/issues with hatch and survival rates. Breeders wanted blue eggs (a dominant egg color gene), with survivability. It is my understanding that Ameraucaunas are directly linked to Aracauna stock, so your egg color variation will come more from what the source/breeder is selecting for as mentioned above.

I have an Easter Egger that lays Glossy Blue eggs(more like turquoise) and another one that lays matte blue/greenish eggs, I really like the glossy type, I am not sure if Araucanas lay more glossy than Ameraucans.
