If you go anywhere near Trier, they have marvelous Roman ruins and a beautiful cathedral.

Are you going to try to bring chickens back with you?

We might be able to stop by Trier on the way back. I'm not too bothered about the cathedral, but the Roman ruins sound interesting. I'll look it up and add it to the route. Thanks for that.

No, we're not looking to bring any chickens back. That would be far too complicated with health certificates, cargo (I don't think chickens would be classed as pets), import costs, possible quarantine, etc... Besides, my flock is a closed one. I'd hate to introduce a bird and a disease.

If you see some araucana I would love a few pics. The standards are so different in other countries that its neat to see how they are breeding theirs.

Myne is Callebaut Marie-Claire (Mary). I'm from Belgium and I have some Araucana chikens (white, black, brown, blue,... ).
For the moment I have +/- 45 chikens.
I'm sending eggs to France. They are also coming in Belgium!!!
