Those turned out really nice. I'm really glad you got so many tufts!
Sorry I didn't reply earlier. I'm a teacher, so the start of school is hectic. Plus, I've been through lots of tests (bone scans, x-rays, etc.) at my oncologists from chest pain that they originally thought was a pulled muscle. It turns out that I've had a broken rib that partially healed, then was reinjured. No sign of the BC reoccurring though! My ribs were made brittle from the radiation. They asked if I had fallen in the last year or so. I just laughed and asked which one. I ride horses and have dairy goats too, so it could have been when my horse fell on me coming out of the river up a muddy embankment, or when the goats upended me trying to get to the grain.
Hey there! Glad you finally made it here, I will be taking update photos of them soon... Though there are only 7 left as I sold 5... What I'm afraid of is 3-4 that I sold to that gal are roos according to you, and I feel terrible! I just picked the ones that had no tufts... :\ I think all but 1-2 of the birds left have tufts... One of the pullets is my favorite, she's so friendly, she likes to ride around on my arm or shoulder, and she climbs fences! LOL!
