I have three birds that I not sure about. I guess they are six weeks old. I made the mistake and ordered four types at once - black australorps, speckled sussex, dark brahmas, speckled sussex. And of course, they threw in two extras - one was the "mystery" heritage chicken, and one was just unknown. I lost a few the first couple of days so I don't know for certain which ones I lost. So these three, I am assuming the are araucanas or a mystery breed and I can't figure out male or female. Any thoughts whether they are araucanas and what sex? They are about 6 weeks old.

Thanks, Allison

Hatcheries don't sell Araucanas or Ameraucanas no matter what they say and remember - Araucanas don't have tails for one thing.

Thanks! I figured they were easter eggers because they had tails. My dh was really hoping Butters was a gal, but off to the boy pen with them. Thanks so much for your help!
