Araucuna chicks getting the red parts by beak

Do I know my anatomy or what???!!

Two of our 5 week chicks are getting little red bits by the sides of their beaks. We are hoping this doesn't indicate roo.
Is there a chicken anatomy poster on this board?

Wattles, I think that's what you mean

Some breeds have smaller wattles than others, and typically a roo has larger , redder wattles than a hen
