Are all hatcheries (backed up) this time of year?

I just found out that the chicks I ordered from Cackle won't be here till June. Would I be better off to cancel that order and find a new hatchery, or are they all backed up this time of year? If not, which one do you suggest?

I have looked. I just can't seem to find exactly what I want, so I decided to order them. My question is-- Are all hatcheries backed up this time of year? If not, which one would you suggest?

They are backed up. I would just stay with the ones you want.

Thank you. I probably wouldn't get eggs this year anyway. I will just have to stay on pins and needles till they get here...

may I ask what you ordered? Not that I have any-Im just curious if it's a special breed and they are backed up on all breeds in gerneral?

A lot of hatcheries ARE backed up this time of the year. I think there are more people ordering chickens because of the economy... though it's not necessarily cheaper to own them.
