Are all our Anconas male?

We’re new to ducks and we had three Pekings who were quite loud. These Anconas are much quieter and we’re wondering if their sounds mean they’re all male. We got them from a nearby breeder intending to only take one male. They’re about eight months old and I haven’t seen any additional eggs beyond the three from our Pekins. But the bottom duck in the photo (we called her Jan) is so small and didn’t have the duck curl so I don’t know if she’s mixed with a smaller breed, a runt female or some other factor. Looking to learn!

Those two bigger, colored ones with curls are both males, yes. Bottom one looks more female-like to me, but voice-sexing would be better. Females will make quieter, high-pitched sounds when they’re just moseying about, but they’ll bring out their loud voice when saying hello, or when they’re frightened.

I hope you have a plan for those boys!

What kind of ducks did the breeder have?
All-white Anconas are a thing - I’ve learned that recently. Though, that little head crest of hers does make me wonder if she’s mixed. Perhaps just Crested x Ancona?

Thank you for the responses. It turns out that the small one (Jan) is female- she’s just not usually honking. And we traded with the breeder again so we have only female adults now. Funnily enough Jan was MUCH chattier after removing the males 😅
