Hi,I have recently gotton a trio of bantams the rooster is an old anglish game but im not to sure about the other hens.Is there such a thing as bantam buff opringtons becouse thats what they look like.If any of you guys know what breed im talkin about please say so and also tell me if she would go broody.thx

Yes there is such a thing as bantam buff orpington. I think they are a broody breed, but I don't have any myself.

I have lots of mixed-breed bantams and they all take turns going broody. I'd think a bantam Buff O would be twice as likely! It's the breeds designed for production that usually have the broody instinct bred out of them, bantams are bred for size & color, broodiness doesn't interfere with their business.

Ialso have another question one of the hens is 6 years old would that make her better of a mother or would she not just broody.thx for all the ansewrs
