Are black Spanish turkeys good pets?

Do Black Spanish turkeys serve as friendly pets? I want to be able to pick them up or at least mingle with them.

I have a pair, 2013 hatch, very quiet and gentle. I dont pick them up, getting hefty but could.

I really want to be able to interact with them without them running away like they are scared. Someone else on here said to bond with them when they are young. So I'm definitely gonna try. They will be in my house until they are old enough to go outside.

I really havent seen a breed of domestic turkeys that is wild/skittish if fed daily etc, house brooded ones can become very tame. My Spanish are very quiet. So is the Bourbon Red with them. If you enjoy being with them they will become very tame.

Are they like chickens? I know if you pick up a chicken a lot then he will allow you pick him up easier when he's older. That's how my silkies are as well. I pick them up daily if not a few times daily.
