Are both of my cuckoo marans pullets or cockerals?

Hello I'm new to backyard chickens I was wondering if both of my chicks are the same gender, female, or if one of them could possibly be a cockeral, I know that male cuckoo marans will be lighter than females and one is darker than the other and the darker ones behavior is more calm than the lighter one
