I'm brooding three new chicks: a light brahma, a golden laced wyandotte and a silver laced wyandotte. I've started feeding them puffed rice as a treat, putting each piece through the mesh covering their brooding box. The wyandottes caught on really quickly and they're very excited when they see me and aggressive with each other about getting the rice. But the brahma hides away from the others and just watches. She won't come anywhere near my hand if I put it near her. She's the same age as the golden laced wyandotte, which I figure seems about a week younger than the silver laced wyandotte. The golden laced is the most aggressive one about getting her treats though: even though she's smaller than the silver laced, she gets 80% of the rice.
