Are chickens allowed in Charlotte County, FL?

I currently live in TN. I will be returning home to charlotte county very soon. I have taken on the pleasure of raising chickens and will be bringing them with me. I have read the pages from many of you but I have not seen anything for 2017. Does anyone know if chickens have been allowed in the area and if so, is there a limit to the number per household or size of property. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your input and knowledge.
