Seven out of 8 eBay light Sussex eggs hatched! One little guy—that hatched yesterday—seems to lie down more than the rest. I don‘t want to make the same mistake I made with the FBCM Rooster Formerly Know As Matilda.” He was the only one of 14 FBCM eggs that hatched, and he had a crooked toe that I failed to address in time.

Incidentally, that FBCM I named Matilda? She sprouted saddle feathers that I just noticed today. The Rooster Formerly Know As Matilda is his new name until I get better inspiration. He likes being picked up. I hope that doesn’t change.
