Are Jerusalem Artichokes Good for Geese?

I haven't heard of this plant before! I thought the title was perhaps an autocorrect of Jerusalem cricket, which I *do* know geese love to eat, lol. Looking it up it seems like they don't have any potential toxins, but do have high levels of inulin, a type of fiber which is good for some animals but can cause gastric upset in others that can't break it down efficiently. As long as they're not getting sick it should be ok as a treat.

The plant is related to the sunflower. Im not sure what part you gave them we eat the root (yum) but the flower would be like a mini sunflower. So Im not sure if the plant is toxic to geese
