Are khaki campbell noisy ducks?

My Rouens are super loud often giving great outbursts of quacks that almost resemble a cackle. It cracks me up. I had planned on getting a couple khakis next spring but as i am so amused by the Rouens , Maybe should i stick with them?

I think all female ducks are loud on occasion. I have Khakis and Swedish Blue. I do think the Blue is louder more often. I have found though that the khakis are more easy going than the blues and are much easier to get in the coop at night.

i have both khaki and rouen. my rouen seems to be louder but both can be pretty loud when they want attention

My welsh harlequin never shuts up though. She shout quacks all day. I only have one, so it could be just her. We think it sounds like she's swearing or laughing at us. She's quite funny and entitled.

I have no Rouen experience but my 2.5 KCs can be loud and obnoxious. I love it, but I can understand how some people might not like it. My KCs and Cayugas are the loudest and most likely to let loose with a hearty hello when I go outside.

My cayuga was also VERY loud. I love the quacking, too. Especially because they are often calling me. Even if it does just mean, "human come stand in the rain so we can forage!" I'm cool with that.
