are mallard ducks good egg layers???????

a couple weeks ago i found a few eggs at a pond on our property and ook them and put them in the bator and checked them yesterday and they are moving inside the egg, just wondering if i feed them layer pelleyts when they get to be adults will they lay good

Mallards are seasonal layers....they will normally lay a clutch and then brood them. I feed mine game bird feed...but they also like greens...etc...
