Are Muscovys lazy?

Muscovy duck owners! is this normal behaviour? ..... My Young muscovy couple of months old still with baby fluff..... She/he looks in ever way healthy, can run real fast! un like my other ducks, she tends to be sitting a noticably long time!.. She is doing all the normal stuff that duck do, if she sees me she comes running over.....
But I am worried about the amount of time she spends sitting down, like an under lying problem... or is this normal for them to be lazy? as they are big heavy birds

Totally normal. I have one that sounds about the same age as your right now and she is always laying down, doesn't matter if she's eating, drinking, worm hunting, whatever! she also takes frequent rests when she follows her momma down to the creek, but she soon pops up and speeds up behind them.

They get more active as they get older but they are very laid back ducks, i have a 2yr old drake that sleeps under the coop a lot during the day but is definitely very healthy and active, in ALL ways.

I'm sooo glad its normal ... lol yep sitting down eating drinking etc .. also sat talking to herself hehe an yep thats what puzzled me about mine shes so fast enough when she spots something she wants.. I can sit back and enjoy watching her relaxing now

... Aww this morning I had mine sitting on my lap she just loved all the cuddles and attention (of course she was relaxed sat down lol) was just so adorable ... hmmmm I thought ppl say muscovys dont like being picked up! mine loves it
