Are My Chickens Dieing?!!!!! HELP!!!!

Hi All,

My cockerel and hen are in really bad condition, recently they had fallen ill if you would say. i treated them with Flubenvet, and also tried Equimax and Ivermectin all of which i was recommended.

but nothing seems to get rid of this struggle/bug/illness? that my hen and cockerel facing.

they keep coughing really bad and szeezing, when the cough they stretch their neck really high and you can tell when they do this they are in much pain and struggle, they are gasping for breath and everytime they breath they are making really loud gurgling noise,theres bubbles coming out from its nose and eyes, and also they have one eye closed?

what do i do to help them and get rid of this illness? i have tried alot of things nothing is working, and i think i'm running out of time, i dont want to lose these they are my favourite pairs and i am worried sick about this!!!!

It iks a respiratory disease such as ILT, MG, or others. Have you seen any bloody mucus from the beak or on the walls of the coop? Since antibiotics need to be prescribed by a vet in the UK, I would consult with one for testing or an opinion. Tylan (tylosin,) erythromycin, and oxytetracycline are frequently used to treat respiratory disease in poultry.

Hi thank you guys for you're response.

after having read you're response i took my chickens to a vet close to my home, she gave me a liquid form of antibiotics called (DENAGARD) she injected my chickens with that and then gave me a bottle to inject over 5 days.

hopefully i shall see some results over the days. fingers crossed.

Denagard is widely used in treatment of mycoplasma (MG.) Good luck.
