I got my chicks from the local farmers market specifically asking for Easter Eggers. Recently someone told me mine weren't Easter Eggers

Can anyone tell? (And maybe tell if they are hens or roos?)

Ruby- very red from the top

Lily- Some people think this one is a roo and his/her legs have feathers on them. She is the youngest and bosses everyone around.

Haven't thought of a name for her yet

Digger- she has green legs and is the oldest of all of them

They look like EE's to me! Esp. green eggs! Partidge colored wing feathers coming in. When my chicks were that age, I was 'complaining' that I didn't buy quail!

They colored up real nice!

I thought the greenish legs were a sign of easter eggers. I'm new at this (only been raising chickens for a year) so maybe I'm wrong. Also, didn't think easter eggers had feathers on their legs/feet. Maybe you got some barnyard crosses where the hen or the cock was an easter egger?

Well, EE's are mixed breeds, so there are no hard and fast rules as to their looks, BUT most EE's have a muff and beard and green legs. That said, the bottom picture looks like it could be an EE, the rest not. The feather legged one looks like a Light Brahma.
