my two female Muscovies nested together and are now taking care of a clutch of eggs together. They had two nests next to each other (even though other boxes were available) and would switch eggs. When I would check the eggs I noticed it wasn’t the same number, they would swap nesting spots and sometimes there would be eggs nestled between the two nests. Is this normal behavior? I notice the ducklings mostly follow one female but they’ll both be out with the ducklings.

I think it's normal when you have a few hens that have ducklings hatch at the same time. There are 5 hens in my neighborhood that we call the sister wives that have 64 ducklings all together and they walk everywhere together, eat together and go in the pond together I think they just help one another safety is in numbers so that's my opinion I'm not no duck expert like some of these wonderful people on here but thought I'd share this with you. One day I'll get some pictures it's quite a sight.

These are the ones I got today
