I don't think so. I'm new to Etsy as well (joined back in January) and have also been having a difficult time trying to set prices. It seems that what I think something is worth and what people will pay are two waaaaay different things. I started pricing my Eggsential Tote a bit higher than it currently is (it is now $20) but wasn't selling any. I've since lowered the price and have sold a few. But considering the time that is involved, I can't lower the price any more. If I was paid by the hour, I would be making about $1 an hour!
With other things - dresses, etc - that I don't mind having in inventory (hanging in my guest closet), I won't lower the price at all; they can stay until the right person comes along unless I get really desperate for money! Thankfully this is a hobby and not my sole source of income. If it was, I would be hurting.
Figure out what your bottom barrel price is and find a compromise between that and what you think they are worth.
Good Luck!
BTW: Love the little bird drawing!
