Are my Girls just weird?

So my flock of 16 hens has been laying for a few months now. The thing is that almost every day I get 9 eggs! Exactly 9! Is this normal that they be so consistent or is this just a fluke!

We joke that they have an obsession with nines like I do, you know perfect number and all! Anyway just thought I'd share my quirky flock!

It takes about 24- 26 hours for a hen to produce an egg. Sometimes a hen will lay an egg every two days, so this is pretty normal. Like owner, like pets, as I say!!!

So day before yesterday I only got seven....so I thought well maybe they are over their 9 streak, and are slowing down production for the Winter.
And to confirm yesterday I got 5 before I went to work. Well when I got home last night my Husband told me he got 6. .................What does that add up to for a two day production?........That's right 18.......for an average of 9.....SMH
