my KC have gone broody (well 1 did then the other thought she would help) didn't think KC went broody
....
I'm new at duck babies
. They had 9 eggs and been sat for 2ish weeks. (was away when they started sitting) and carer just fed and watered. So no idea on on time keeping
Noticed Milton was broody on return and wouldn't let me near the nest. She sat for a week then Jemima decided she would get in on the act.
booted 2 rather angry mums out of shed and thought I would candle the eggs maybe see if i was going to be a grandmom this is what I found.
There is air sack filling 1/4 egg maybe a little more and black mass in fluid in other, are these ducklings? they didn't move when I shone the light on them.
. this morning 1 of the 9 had been chucked out of nest and splatterd !!!!
The girls are still in there refusing to budge.
advice plzzzzzzzzz
