Are my Wyandottes pullets or cockerels?

I have a blrw splash and a silver laced Wyandotte. Both are 8 1/2 weeks. I’m having a hard time telling the gender with this type of comb. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If they are really 8.5 weeks your SLW looks like a pullet! I’m not sure on the other one I haven’t had experience with those!

Are you positive on their age?? They look to be 5-6 weeks old. 8 week old birds shouldn't have baby fluff, like these.

Yes, I got them April 12th. They seemed to be feathering slower than any other chicks we’ve got.

Hmmm.
I wonder if that also means they are slow in development as well. I would keep an eye on the one with the pink comb...

I was wondering that too after reading a few posts about some (usually bad) genetics can cause slow growth. They’re in the bin with two other blrw chicks that are supposed to be 5 1/2 weeks (they came in may 10th) and they’re just starting to fill out the feathers on their wings. Thank you for your help!

If they were fully feathered, we'd probably have a better idea. Is there any way you could update in a few more weeks?
