We picked up a dried palm trunk oN our walk today. No idea what kind of palm it is. I was going to put it in the chicken run but I read that sago palms are poisonous to cats and dogs. Anyone have experience with dried palm trunks in chicken runs?
It has the peeling layers typical od a palm tree and some 'roughage' areas. I thought they'd like to pick through it and play with it - but not if it's going to kill them.
