Are Subabul(Leucaena leucocephala) leaves safe as feed for free range chickens?

Hello all,

I have 40 day old chicks and have started them to free range. Few of them pecked at Subabul leaves and seem to like it. These leaves are considered one of the best feeds for goats. Will these leaves be safe for chicks?
