We have 14 hens, each a different breed. If I served you eggs from our White Face Black Spanish and our Jersey Black Giant, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in taste. Your homegrown eggs will taste better than any other on earth.
The eggs that are not good to eat... any eggs that have cracks in the shell when you gather them. Instead, feed them back to the hens.
Eggs from ducks and geese may taste different from chicken eggs, but I think that is partially because of differences in their diets from chickens.
