are there any silkie breeders in east tennesee?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any silkie breeders or hatcheries in east tennessee? I was wanting to get a few so my daughter could show them in 4-H. thanks

I don't know if there is but I am really interested to know so I am going to be keeping my eye out on this one. I have searched for silkies in Alabama that are pullets and it has been a little tough. So I am curious about this.

You/your daughter should join the American Silkie Bantam Club. http://americansilkiebantamclub.org/ You get a membership directory, which lists all the breeders in the club by state and their contact info. And also quaterly newsletters and access to the silkie bantam club forum. Great place to start.

I know of a feed store in Lenoir City that has chicks from a local breeder.
