Hi, I recently bought 3 ducklings from a lady who had too many. She told me they were female golden 300 hybrids (sexed by the hatchery) but as they’ve grown they look nothing like any online pictures I can find of female golden 300s. They look more like the males but they do all seem to be quacking. I know with hybrids there is some variation in coloring but I really can’t find much information on these hybrids besides what are on Metzer farm website. Anyone have golden 300 experience that could weigh in? Here they are today, pictured with my two runner/welsh mixes. Thanks in advance for any insight! ❤

Those 3 girls look almost identical to my khaki/pekin hybrids. Hubby calls them calico khakis because they are brown, black and white. The brown can be seen in the feathers on the wings. They're a bit more talkative and louder than the parent breeds.
My avatar is our first khaki/pekin hybrid wearing her sock diaper.
