These chicks were purchased from a TSC bin labeled “olive eggers”. The second looks just like our cream legbar, Sweetie. I know OE are a mix of different breeds, but they look incredibly different from one another. As chicks they were INCREDIBLY unfriendly. We purchased four (the OEs were the last two in the bin)- two OEs and 2 isa browns. We were shocked at how unfriendly they were in the brooder. They refused to eat from our hands and scattered when we walked in the room. But ever since they were put in their coop/run at the end of August, they’ve been so friendly! Sometimes too friendly lol. Anyway, I’m just curious! Thank you any responses I get!

The first one looks like a Rhode Island Red with a Rose Comb, and the second looks like a Polish mix. I wouldn't know mixed with what though. They very well might be OEs, but until they lay a green, brown, or white egg you probably can't tell. There probably is someone on here who knows a lot more about OEs than I do and could tell you immediately, but until then keep reading "Green Eggs and Ham" to them!

You won't know till they start laying eggs and it doesn't matter what the birds look like because once breeds are crossed, the appearance can be all over the board.
Olive eggers aren't a breed. They are a cross between a blue/green egg layer and a dark brown egg layer.
There are a lot of possible mixes of breeds that can create an olive egger. That might be any type of Easter egger, ameraucana, araucana or cream legbar crossed with a Marans, Welsummer, Penedesenca, Empordanesa, Barnevelder or possibly even Langshan.

The first is a Cinnamon Queen. The original version. Silver laced Wyandotte x RIR.
Second is DEFINITELY and Olive Egger.

That's interesting! I didn't know there was more than one version.

Yeah, the second one (Olivia) looks incredibly like our CLB, Sweetie. There are just a few minor differences, which I'm guessing is accounting for the mix of breeds Olivia probably has.
