Yes these are Ameracaunas. and they do have little muffs and beards. I bought them from a very reputable breeder.

Mine went through that gawky stage where they grew into the muffs/beard they were born with and didn't look to have any then a couple months later they grew in and by the time they were 6 months it was full.

ETA The little black one has a beard and muffs you can see it.

I'm going to say I don't know on the black one, but the other is a cockerel and I think it is a splash, not blue.

May I ask whom you got the chicks/hatching eggs from?
