Are these fertilized?

You could try isolating all the silkies individually, and put them back into the flock as soon as you get an egg. I'd also maybe use different color bands or tiptoes on their legs, or some food coloring on tail feathers to tell them apart, that way you will know the ones that are hens for sure.
 
If you could share some photos, we could help identify your cockerel, I'm sure. I've heard of ornamental bantams like Silkies or Cochin Bantams (we call them Pekins here) that didn't crow much; Silkies in particular are notoriously hard to sex.

This silky maybe? It’s the only one that looks different. It does a weird little head twitch all the time.
