I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I’m putting it here. Does my Ameraucana have normal feathers? She has a few things that are different from her siblings.
-curly feathers in some areas
-tiny little string feathers coming from her fluffy areas

Along with this, she was having some trouble preening out her grownup feathers that were growing in. (Mostly two months ago around her neck.)

Do these feathers look normal? I’ve been curious about them for a while.

It looks like she might be lavender colored?
I don't have any direct experience, but I've read that lavenders often have feather-quality issues.

Here she is. She is otherwise pretty good with a full bard and muffs, pink earlobes, slate legs, etc, which makes it kind of disappointing that she has some wonky feathers.
