Are these really Araucanas?

I googled araucana chickens and this pucture came up.

Are they really araucanas? I know that some araucanas will be born with a tail, but these 2 have beards or muffs (I’m not sure if the difference) and they’re crested. I’m stumped. Any ideas?

Those are U.K/Australia Araucana. Different countries, different standards. One is lavender/self blue and the other is Blue Wheaten.

It's not that we have differing standards, per-say, but we have two different kinds of Araucana over here. So our Araucana are what you see above, and similarities can be drawn between them and your Ameraucana; they have muff/beard, lay blue/green eggs, are tailed but are also crested. We also have the Rumpless Araucana, which are the same as your Araucana; tailless and with ear-tufts.

That is so cool that their are 2 different varieties of araucan in the UK.
