I have 2 little wyandottes also....I tried to get 2 hens from the bunch but I ended up picking a hen and a roo.  I try to tell by the shape of the feathers near their rump.  The hens will have rounded feather tips and the roos will have pointed ones.  Another method I use is flipping them up on their backs to see if the legs stay up or down....this has never been 100% but it seems to me that the hens usually lay their legs down calmly after a second and the roos usually keep kicking and fighting or hold their legs up.
