Are these silkies show quality or 4h quality

We just hatched these silkie chicks. I am wondering if they are show quality or 4h quality and what colors the darker chicks are.


Chick 1 hatched monday - buff

Chick 2 hatched monday - black?

Chick 3 hatched monday -grey?

Chick 4 hatched Tuesdays blue?

My chicks hatched just a few days before!

Can't really tell for sure on feather quality until they've fully feathered out. If the parents were good, the chicks will usually be good, but there's always those few that are disappointing. But when I hatch silkies out I check their toe spacing and comb shape first, then check for split wing after all their wing feathers come in.

Make sure they have five toes on each foot. Also check to make sure the fourth and fifth toes aren't fused or too close together. White toenails in the blacks aren't ideal but it's probably not a super big deal for 4h.

Comb should be a walnut comb. Check to see if they have any visible spikes near the top of the comb, they're natural, but not ideal.

Looks like they all have dark skin/eyes which is good.

The dark chicks all look black to me. Chick 4 could be a dark blue if one of the parents has blue but I'm leaning towards black with some lighter colored fluff.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on anything, just going off of what I've been learning about showing silkies.
