it depends. $5 for a rooster seems to be the norm no matter the breed since most people want pullets. Some give away roosters for free that are not fancy breeds.

That depends on your local market. I sell purebred chicks for more than that. And barnyard mix for less. If I raise them to the age of those pictures, I add $1/week. I would say they are worth much more than $5. Even for being cockerels.

That depends on what you want them for.

$5 each is really a bargain price.

Bielefelder seem to be increasingly popular- and will add size/mass and productivity to your flock. Not sure what you'd cross them over- but you could have some really nice dual purpose chicks starting with a Bielefelder rooster!
