Are they still good?

My family just went on spring break vacation. Without someone to check on the chickens, I gathered eggs from the last 7 days when we got home today. Are they still good to eat? Should I wash/refrigerate immediately?

Weather has been warming up down here with some days near 80.

7 days is no problem. Now, if you have a rooster, something could have started developing already, but if the eggs are unfertilized, you won't have to worry.

If in doubt, always good to break each egg into a separate dish one at a time before adding to pan or recipe...use your eyes and nose to assess.

Thanks for the feedback. I washed them thoroughly and put them in the fridge last night. Also did the float test and they all passed.
Remember that the 'float test' only tells you how much fluid had evaporated,
it won't tell you if an egg is 'bad' or not.
