Hi, I'm Sarah. I've been reading on the forums for a few months, but this is my first post.
I have 3 chickens (the max allowed by my city). My first, Ann Boleyn, I know is a hen because I've seen her lay an egg. My other two, Thelma and Louise, I am questioning. My boyfriend tells me they (one unidentified - maybe both) have been crowing in the mornings. I've never heard it, and all the research I've done into how to tell boys from girls, leads me to believe I have 3 hens, but I'm new to chickens, so maybe I'm missing something obvious?
Louise is the biggest of the three. Thelma is the smallest, but has the biggest wattles/comb. Anne is the gray one.
