Are we what we're supposed to be?

After finding out that our chicks hatched in my son's kindergarten class were both roos we had to rehome them due to local laws.
We got these two as replacements.
I was told they're both pullets around 8-10weeks.

Looks like you have the breeds right and I do think Charlie is a boy. The SLW looks to be a pullet to me.

Charlie's a boy, and indeed a Sussex. The Wyandotte is probably a pullet, and looks so far like it will have lacing far better than the average hatchery quality Wyandotte.
