are wyandotte roostres mean?

I want a wyandotte roo and i want to know if they make a mean roo?

I've only had two of them, but didn't have problems with either--lost one to a hawk while he was protecting his girls.

I had a Silver Laced Wyandotte roo 4 years ago. We had to put him down because he drew blood on my youngest child and tried to kill me. We are always gentle with our animals and I have no idea why he changed into a monster.

It took me 4 years to want chickens again. Here I am now, with 77!

I will NEVER again have any Wyandotte.

None of mine are and haven't had to cull one that was.

mine have all been nice but hatchery stock may not be as nice. I had buff ops hatchery stock and that rooster will aweful but I hear the breed is very gentle. try to get one from a breeder if you are looking for non aggressive.
