Are Wyandottes (Silver laced) typically aggressive birds?

I have 5 SLW and they are surprisingly timid. In fact I worry they don't get their share of treats, so I started giving them some goodies away from the rest of the flock. They are the only ones who won't let me close to them

I have met several hatchery SLW that seemed more aggressive than some of the other hens, but my large exhibition wyandottes are gentle giants.

My SLW cock is a complete gentleman, easy to handle, yet still breeds well and has good fertility.

Try some real wyandottes. They are my favorite large fowl chicken.

I’ve got three 9 month old silkie bantams. I’m thinking about introducing a Wyandotte or two. One of my silkies is a rooster. Do you think that they would get picked on by the wyandottes?

We only have one SLW but she is one of the nicest hens ever. We also have two columbian wyandottes and they are very nice except when they are broody.
